Jeholopterus was a pterosaur, a type of flying reptile. It was not a dinosaur, though it lived during the same period. Jeholopterus lived during the Middle Jurassic or Early Cretaceous and resided in Asia. The first Jeholopterus fossil was discovered in 2002.
